Off-peak closures of a small section of A299 Cliffsend Roundabout, Hengist Way, Ramsgate are planned from Monday 6 August 2018 for up to 2 days, between 9.30 am and approximately 3.00 pm each day.
Cliffsend Roundabout will be closed to westbound traffic at its southern junction, between the southbound and northbound carriageways of Hengist Way.
The alternative route for any through traffic is by continuing southbound on A299 Hengist Way to Sevenscore Roundabout and then back northbound.
The closures are to enable Kent County Council to carry out works to improve roundabout signage and markings, for safety reasons
The works have been timed to be carried out during the school holidays, to reduce their impact
These works are weather dependent, and if adverse conditions prevent works being fully completed within the planned dates given, the duration may need to be extended or some works may need to be re-scheduled.
