  • 26 Old Hall Drive
    • NM/TH/17/0660
    • Application for non-material amendment of planning permission FH/TH/16/0756 for the erection of a single storey side extension and two storey rear and side extension and erection of porch to front elevation following demolition of existing garage to allow alterations to extension and pitched roof.
      • The Parish Council requests that details are supplied for comment.
      • Comments must be received by 29 May 17.
      • TDC have now approved this application.
      • A complaint has been received that the built alterations do not match the agreed plans.  This is a Planning Inspectorate issue.  CPC will inform building inspector about this and cc in TDC planning.
    • A new application has been submitted – F/TH/17/1383
    • Variation of condition 2 attached to planning permission FH/TH/16/0756 for the erection of a single storey side extension and two storey rear and side extension and erection of porch to front elevation following demolition of existing garage to allow for minor alterations to the side and rear extensions together with the addition of a parapet gutter arrangement to the side extensions and alterations to fenestration of porch.
      • The Parish Council have received a complaint and objects to the house as it has been built, no longer conforms to building lines and is not in accordance with plans approved last year.  The property is now out of line with the adjacent properties and entering the curtilage of a property not owned by the applicant, this leads to Land Registry problems.  There was debate about the original application, which the PC did not give approval to.  There should be a call for the applicant to rectify this and adhere to the details and design of the approved application.

  • 67 Sandwich Road
    • FH/TH/17/1133
    • Application for erection of a single storey rear extension.
    • Comments must be received by 6 September 17.
    • The Parish council have discussed this application and have no objections.
    • This application has now been approved.

  • 44 Canterbury Road West
    • FH/TH/17/1548
    • Variation of condition 2 attached to planning permission FH/TH/17/0392 for the erection of single storey rear extension with balcony over and balustrade fencing together with the insertion of rear dormer window with french doors, following demolition of existing rear extensions to allow for the increase in size of rear dormer window.
    • Comments must be received by 27 Nov 17.

  • Land south of Canterbury Road West – OL/TH/17/0152 – Feb 2017
    • Outline planning permission for the erection of up to 65no. dwellings including access.
    • Public planning meeting was held at TDC on 18 October to discuss this application.
    • Cllr Blaydes was unavailable to speak against this.  Cllr Barnbrook spoke on behalf of the PC.

  • Land north of Cottington Road – OL/TH/17/0151 – Feb 2017
    • Outline application for the erection of up to 41no. dwellings including access with all other matters reserved
    • Public planning meeting was held at TDC on 15 November to discuss this application.
    • Cllr Blaydes was unavailable to speak against this.  Cllr Lyon spoke on behalf of the PC.

  • Plots 5, 6 And 7 Youngs Nursery Arundel Road – F/TH/17/0295
    • Erection of 3 no. 3-bed detached chalet bungalows
    • The Parish Council discussed this application on 20th April.  These are the findings:
      • We are aware that Southern Water will not accept proposed surface water drainage, and they have advised that no deep piling is allowed.  We would like this point reiterated.
      • Will there be a new public road?
      • There appears to be a small living area for the number of bedrooms?
      • The number of bedrooms is a lot compared to the number of car parking spaces.
      • We are also concerned with what is happening to the piece of land between plots 7 & 9?
